Some facts about the Perseid Meteor Shower

    - They are traveling at 133,200 mph towards earth
    - Most of the meteorites are no bigger than a grain of sand
    - The Shower is caused by the comet Swift-Tuttle
    - When entering our atmosphere it compresses the air which heats up to 1,650 degrees Celsius.
    - Most of the particles become visible at 60 miles above the earth.
    - The meteorites are at their densest still 60 to 100 miles apart.

Just something to think about as your waiting for them. The best time to view is just before dawn but I'm not sure if I can be up that early Razz
