We're looking to get your comments suggestions. It would also be interesting to match the simulators results with your own images.

As this relies a lot on calibration so please give us as much test data you can give.

So check it out http://www.mydob.co.uk/eyepiece_simulator.php

TO DO:
    - More Images
    - Common scope presets
    - Field of view simulation
    - Light pollution simulation

simulator is really useful. one suggestion would be to include maybe another object to test against. andromeda is really good but i'd like to also see a planet, maybe Saturn would be a good choice to help plan which lenses to buy for planetary viewing .

Either the eyepice simulator still has the lens cap on, or it doesn't work at all...

Someone else mentioned it, I'm going to second their comment: PLEASE input more objects to view. Everyone seems to want to view Saturn...so I'd recommend Saturn. The moon would also be nice, as would Mars. But nebulae such as Eagle, Crab, and Orion would be oustanding additions after Saturn.

Admin,
Also, just so you know, I've viewed and asked others with more expertise than myself (I'm a newbie) regarding various simulations that are already out there. Everyone seems to indicate that they're not very accurate. But so far, everyone at my astronomy forum has told me this is extremely realistic and a fantastic tool. I hope you not only keep up the good work but take this to the next level by including other objects to view (Saturn, Eagle nebula, M81, etc).
