MyDob.co.uk is the online dobsonian telescope community. Everyone is welcome from the experienced dobsonian user to the beginner who is looking for their first dob.

The Dobsonian Telescope is the choice of many amateur astronomers because of its large aperture, portability and cost.

The large aperture design makes the dobsonian ideal for viewing deep sky objects such as star clusters, galaxies and nebulas.

Portability is important for many as dedicated observing locations in most back gardens are not possible. It also makes it possible to move the telescope to darker light unpolluted areas.
